Plastic bumper bar collection for smash repairers
Got bumper bars piling up in your workshop?
Boxhead Plastics collects plastic bumper bars from smash repair businesses across Greater Sydney and the Central Coast.
Collections can be arranged weekly, fortnightly, monthly or when you need one. You’ll receive a waste docket after every pickup.
Minimum 45 bumper bars | Collections from $235 | Waste docket provided
Get the bumper bars out of your workshop
Bumper bars take up room quickly. The Boxhead Plastics Autoplas Collection Service gives you a regular way to move them out without organising a skip bin or mixing recyclable plastic with general waste.
Choose a collection size and schedule that suits the volume your workshop generates. We collect the prepared bars from an accessible area and provide a waste docket for your records.
What we collect
We collect prepared plastic car bumper bars.
- Before collection, remove:
Metal components - Grilles and clips
- Headlights and fog lamps
- Parking sensors
- Metal screws
- Wiring harnesses
- Foam and other soft plastic.
Stack the prepared bars somewhere safe and accessible so our driver can load them.
Other rigid plastics may be considered separately. Check with us before adding anything other than bumper bars to your collection.

Where the bumper bars go
After collection, the bumper bars are checked, sorted and processed into recycled plastic feedstock for use by Australian manufacturers.
Sorting and processing the plastic also creates paid employment for women who have been through the justice system.
Your workshop receives a practical collection service, while the plastic and the work it creates are put to better use.
